Well,

It's nice and all, but when are they actually going to listen to what the Guild Wars community is REALLY asking for? When are we going to get reasonable storage?

Personally, I have 10+ characters on two seperate accounts ( 10+ characters each that is! ). The dinky little xunlai storage is pretty damn small.

Before I pat Anet on the back, I want to see dye storage added to the material storage tab, and expaaaaaanded xunlai agent storage. Why is this so hard for them to understand?

So you jump on Gaile right after being embarassed by yelling "LIES" without any evidence to the contrary. That's pretty amazing. You see, it really does nobody any good to go around saying "pics or it's not true" or "i'll believe that when I see it." Something like, "That sounds improbable, post pictures please" would be much less abrasive, and if you wanted to, you could just not post anything and rest safely in the knowledge that you don't believe them as of right now. Since there are lots of people who consistently find things out on Guru, odds are, if you wait even 30 minutes, somebody will put up proof without even asking them to, and you won't have to jump all over anyone for no reason.

Ok, let's see if I've got this "hat thing" down. Say I get all my hats of various types, copied, and then delete every single hat I own. I can still make all of them that I had copied, correct?

It's not hard for them to understand. They understand. That doesn't mean they are going to implement everything that people want. Gaile pretty much has to repeat this ad nauseum. Now, the question is, why is this so hard for you (and so many others) to understand ?

I'm glad to have the extra few storage slots freed up, now if only I could find a way to make it worthwhile wearing hats, atleast 55s could get away with it, lol

That was because immediately before I read this topic, I saw on GWO that someone was speading rumors of a "Hat NPC." And I presumed the OP was one of these people (especially since he didn't list a source.)

We make mistakes. (although I do not understand why it wasn't mentioned in detail in the original Wintersday announcement...)

I didn't list a source because I was trying to get the post up as quickly as possible. Sorry.

I'll edit it in now.

Wow, that's pretty tight... I especially like the Heroe's Ascent update about heroes.

I think the hat trader if for the new hats. Also you can make unlimited copies (from reading Gaile's post) for cost of 10 gold or by using the existing hats.

The community also asked for a form of storage for the holiday items. This hat NPC is BETTER than just storage for those who have multiple hats for multiple characters. And in the long run is pretty much infinite in the amount of hats you can have "stored"

Why is it so hard for you to understand this?

The hats don't do anything, so I don't really see a point in why everyone is praising Anet so much.

Reks: "Original Pumpkin Crowns for everyone!"

Everyone: "Yay!"

Well this made my day. Kudos to ANet. It's good to know that my Ranger will no longer be my only character to enjoy the best hat.

Oh yeah. You're such a rebel fighting against authority. No, I dont kiss ANET's ass all the time but I give credit when credit is due, unlike you where you're whining and complaining about everything. I've yet to see one post from you that is positive.

Just confirmed for everyone. Once you show the hat guy one of your hats you can delete ALL of them.

I did this on my extra storage account which only has 2 hats on the whole account. Deleted both after showing them to the guy and was able to create new ones.

So, this means you get back every single spot of storage you are currently using for hats!!

That means I've saved about 30 slots. So to everyone complaining that this was useless, I say go eat your hats.
